The Inforce Foundation is a UK-based, international and independent non-governmental organisation and UK registered charity (no.1097435) established in 2001; the word "Inforce"is derived from International Centre for Forensic Excellence. We aim to provide the forensic expertise necessary for the scientific location, recovery and identification of the victims of mass fatality incidents and such crimes as genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. We adopt a human rights-based approach to the application of forensic sciences in the aftermath of atrocity crimes and mass fatality incidents. In all of our work we adopt protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure that all work is undertaken to the highest possible standards. Deployment We provide humanitarian assistance in recovering and identifying the dead worldwide in mass fatality incidents such as natural disasters and in recovering and recording crucial evidence in the context of transportation accidents and terrorist attacks. Training We specialise in providing practical hands-on training through large scale simulation exercises - whether to colleagues from post-conflict regions to empower them to undertake their own investigations and recover and identify their dead or to forensic practitioners and students wanting practcal experience. Research Our team works closely with many students studying a broad range of forensic sciences. We can offer advice and support based on our expertise in the field. For further information:
