Alison Anderson
Anatomical Pathology Technician
Alison is Deputy Mortuary Services Manager for the largest group of mortuaries in Scotland. She is a qualified Anatomical Pathology Technician with many years experience and also holds a Certificate in Forensic Medicine. Alison has spent most of her working life employed by the NHS but this has been interspersed with several field roles. She has worked in Bosnia several times as part of the UN International Forensic Team; attended a major aircraft crash in Scotland; spent time in Kosovo assisting the Missing Persons Unit and was based at Brize Norton during the repatriation of British fatalities from the recent Iraqi War. Alison is a council member of the Association of Anatomical Pathology Technicians (UK).
