Prof Hendrik Scholtz

Hendrik Scholtz was until recently Head of Division of the School of Pathology, Division of Forensic Medicine, University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and Chief Specialist of Forensic Pathology Services Johannesburg with responsibility for 12,000 medicolegal investigations annually. Apart from normal duties, research and teaching responsibilities, he was central in the transformation of the medico-legal investigation of death service through policy formulation and advice to central and provincial government of South Africa. He assists the police and governments in many countries including the UK, Mozambique, Botswana and Namibia.
