Dr Jeanine Vellema

Jeanine Vellema is Head of Division of the School of Pathology, Division of Forensic Medicine, University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. Having performed over 8,000 medicolegal autopsies, she frequently appears as an Expert Witness. Her responsibilities include Examiner for the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa and President of the College of Forensic Pathologists (South Africa). Publications and research interests include the documentation, collection and preservation of forensic evidence especially in gunshot victims.
