Steele Raymond Professor of Law and Head of the School of Finance and Law, Bournemouth University and Barrister, the Chambers of Michael Parroy QC, 3 Paper Buildings, Temple, London and 20 Lorne Park Road, Bournemouth, Professor Grief is a specialist in public international and European law, with particular emphasis on human rights and humanitarian law. Co-editor of the European Human Rights Reports (authoritative English language law reports published by Sweet & Maxwell covering the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights) and UK correspondent for the Revue trimestrielle de droit européen with experience as an expert witness on the legal status of weapons of mass destruction. A major contributor to the Government Legal Service's structured training programme in EU law and to the States of Guernsey Civil Service Board's human rights training programme. He also delivers EU law training in Macedonia on behalf of the Centre for Management and Policy Studies, Cabinet Office.
