Alison Perman
A serving Police Officer with The City of London Police sinced 1988 with 5 years previous experience as a civilian with both the Metropolitan Police and The City of London Police. Alison joined the Scientific Support Unit in 1991 as a Scene of Crime Officer dealing with a variety of crimes and scenes including everyday thefts, burglaries aand assaults. Due to the central location this also includes more involved bomb scenes, drug factories, counterfeight currency production and major frauds in the financial sector. To her credit she has been awarded both Commissioners and Commanders Commendations for her work within the force. Two secondments to ICTY in Bosnia and Herzegovina were completed in 1999 and 2000 working within the mortuary. A member of Kenyon International Emergency Services and in this capacity worked at RAF Brize Norton as continuity officer for the servicemen killed in the Gulf War 2003. Alison has recently returned from Iraq as one of the Inforce team members assessing the mass graves on behalf of the FCO.
