David Schofield
Started his career as a Public Health Inspector, is now safety and environmental specialist at Bournemouth University and is a practising consultant. He has a background in a very wide range of industries including seismic survey, fire safety, military training, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, transport, construction, mining and engineering. David has also managed disease outbreaks and is an expert in animal health. He has been involved in health and safety on exhumations and carried out geophysics studies in Iceland . His current research includes 'health effects in post conflict situations' and 'military white phosphorous remains in soil'. He has an MSc from Surrey University and studied risk communication at Harvard. David is now programme leader for undergraduate forensics at Bournemouth University.
