Ronald Turnbull
Ron Turnbull is a career ex-detective with wide experience of managing and co-ordinating operational specialist squads and other agencies, which consistently achieved the highest levels of success. Since retiring from the police force in 2001, he has worked with the UN - ICTY as Head of Evidence Unit within the Office of the Prosecutor at The Hague , Netherlands . Here he is responsible for over 4.5 million documents and 12,000 audio/video records, as well as many artefacts concerned in the trial of War Criminals. Prior to his involvement in the realm of war-crimes, he worked for the Metropolitan Police Service (1969 - 2001) and was Detective Sergeant - Major Crime Scene Co-ordinator from 1990 - 2001. His experience includes work in Iraq , Bosnia and Kosovo. For the latter he was awarded the UN Kosovo Medal received a commendation from the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service.
