Catherine Rock DCR, MSc, PGCert
Forensic Radiographer
Currently Chair of the Association of Forensic Radiographers, Catherine is Clinical Education Specialist for GE Healthcare in Digital Radiography and Fluoroscopy. She has over 20 years experience as a radiographer, manager and advanced practitioner in the NHS. She has a longstanding interest in forensic radiography. Her work with the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in Kosovo in 2000 led her to aid the formation of the North of England Forensic Radiography Response Team. This was vital in responses to the Selby rail crash in 2001 and subsequent incidents. She is forensic radiography advisor to a number of regional resilience teams and is coordinator of the Association of Forensic Radiographers’ UK Forensic Radiography Response Team, overseeing the initial forensic radiographic response to the London bombings in July 2005. Catherine is actively involved with the training and education of radiographers and lectures widely on the subject of forensic imaging.
