Gillian Slater

Professor Gillian Slater retired in September 2005 after nearly 11 years as Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of Bournemouth University. She spent many years before that working as a mathematician at various universities. She holds a BA, MSc, MA and DPhil in Mathematics from the University of Oxford. She has the honour of being a Deputy Lieutenant of Dorset.
