(HDCR, MSc, DipHSM, DipFMS, CertRP, SRR) Senior Project Manager-Clinical Development and Honorary Senior Radiographer, Barts & the London Hospitals. Mark Viner has over 23 years experience as a radiographer and radiology manager in the United Kingdom , having held a variety of clinical posts at The London Hospital, The Brook Hospital, Greenwich and Westminster Hospital before returning to the Royal London Hospital as Senior Superintendent Radiographer, and latterly Radiology Services Manager for St Bartholomew's & The Royal London Hospitals. He has a particular interest in trauma and forensic imaging, and the management of major incidents and disasters. He has served the Society and College of Radiographers in a number of Local, Regional and National roles, and is currently Forensic Radiography Advisor and Chair of the Forensic Imaging Working Party for the College of Radiographers. He is Forensic Radiography advisor to a number of Local Authorities is co-ordinator of the Trauma Imaging Group Forensic Radiography Response Team. As forensic radiography advisor and team leader for the United Nations ICTY (1996 - 2001), he has worked extensively in Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo. Additionally he has been employed as Forensic Radiographer for the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone, The United Nations Office of Missing Persons in Kosovo and for a number of cases in the Republic of Ireland. He is actively involved in the teaching and validation of undergraduate and postgraduate radiography education and holds honorary lecturer appointments at City University, London and The University of Central England in Birmingham where he facilitated development of the first post-graduate certificate course for Forensic Radiography.
