Donation of X-ray Consumables
News and press interest – 20th April 2007

A whole van full (literally) of X-ray film, X-ray cassettes and processing chemicals was donated to Inforce by Barts and The London NHS Trust following their recent conversion from film to Digital Imaging. On a tour to St Bartholomews, The Royal London, The London Chest and Mile End Hospitals in the City and East End Mitch Smith (Barts and the London) and Roland Wessling (Inforce) during the handoverof London, Mark Viner and Roland Wessling from Inforce supported by Mitch Smith (Barts and the London NHS Trust) collected over one ton of X-ray consumables.

Bruno Tonello, Imaging Planning and Strategy Manager at the Trust says: "we are delighted to be able to assist Inforce by donating our old surplus equipment to a very worthy cause! ... many of our radiographers have been involved in the investigation of genocide in the former Yugoslavia and support the work of the foundation. We are pleased to be able to help in a practical way."
