Inforce has moved to the Cranfield Forensic Institute
News and press interest – 5th November 2007

The Inforce Foundation is moving its headquarters to the Cranfield Forensic Institute at the Shrivenham Campus of Cranfield University.

Following many years of productive and mutually beneficial co-operation with Bournemouth University we have been evaluating options for an academic partner to support our future strategic direction. After considering a range of options, the Cranfield Forensic Institute emerged as the clear choice and provides significant opportunities for both organisations to work together towards our key aims;

  • developing and refining standards in the forensic application of various scientific fields in atrocity crime investigation and disaster victim identification;
  • providing students and the wider forensic community with opportunities for further education in forensic sciences;
  • continuing to provide advice and rapid response to potential and actual atrocity crime and DVI work; and
  • creating new opportunities for future generations of forensic scientists.
