What we do

Inforce is involved in a range of forensic projects throughout the year.

We work principally in the areas of:

  • the investigation of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes;
  • the location and identification of missing persons, disaster victim location, recovery and identification (DVI);
  • domestic crime investigation (location, recovery and identification);
  • professional training and capacity building in the UK and abroad.

Deployment
We provide humanitarian assistance in recovering and identifying the dead worldwide in mass fatality incidents such as natural disasters and in recovering and recording crucial evidence in the context of transportation accidents and terrorist attacks.

Training
We specialise in providing practical hands-on training through large scale simulation exercises - whether to colleagues from post-conflict regions to empower them to undertake their own investigations and recover and identify their dead or to forensic practitioners and students wanting practcal experience.

Research
Our team work closely with many students studying a broad range of forensic sciences. We can offer advice and support based on our expertise in the field.

More detail of our recent and planned work can be found by selecting the other pages in this section.
